Fresh air and green lungs with a positive effect, that is maxfrei. For this purpose, maxfrei offers around 15,000 m² of green space. On hot days, around 120 trees provide coolness and shade and turn the park in front of the door into a small recreation area.

The trees get extra space to root, which keeps the soil fresh and the trees growing tall. At the same time, this enriches biodiversity and binds CO2. In spring, the colourful beds are filled with beautiful flowers, including "Saponaria lempergii Max Frei", a flower in a wonderful light pink and also the namesake of our neighbourhood.

Everything that can be greened is greened: roofs, fire brigade access roads, parks and front and rooftop gardens contribute to the green quarter.

Surface unsealing and rain retention on the roofs prevent rainwater from evaporating and thus create a positive, heat-regulating effect on the microclimate in the neighbourhood. This benefits both you as a resident and the environment.

In addition, there are numerous places to meet or simply go outside: A large playground for romping, a water feature for relaxing and cooling down, and the seating stairs as an open neighbourhood meeting place. A delicious glass of wine or a coffee can be enjoyed under the trees in the outdoor restaurant.
